Tel Aviv University (TAU), established in 1956, is Israel's largest and most diversified university. It has 30,000 students in 128 schools and departments across the spectrum of sciences, humanities and arts. The University also puts tremendous emphasis on globalizing its campus, offering 14 international degree programs in English that attract over 1,200 students from 60 countries annually.
The Tel Aviv University website is home for it's faculty and students and the task of redesigning the homepage specificaly was very challanging. The requirements were to make the homepage a simple and dynamic grid that will allow different types of items, varying amounts of text and many languages. Also, since only the homepage was being redesigned at the time, it had to visually and logically connect to the rest of the site.
